Vernon Ellicott has been practicing law for over 25 years and is admitted to the California and Texas State Bars.  He is a Certified Family Law Specialist which means that over 17 years ago, he took and passed an additional very difficult bar exam about family law and was recommended by judges and other attorneys to be certified as a specialist in family law by the California State Bar.

He has handled thousands of bankruptcy and family law cases over the years as well as other types of cases often related to bankruptcy and family law.  Mr. Ellicott loves fighting for his clients in court and knows the California court system well.  He has been in California courts all the way from the Mexican border to Northern California and everywhere in between.

Mr. Ellicott has settled seven figure sexual harassment and abuse cases against NBA, NFL and major league baseball players along with well-known entertainers and artists, among others, all over the United States traveling from coast to coast for mediations and settlement conferences.
He and his wife have four daughters and two grandsons spread out across the country. They regularly travel around the country to see their children and family.
Mr. Ellicott also knows how to play when he’s not working.  He races road and mountain bikes, and enjoys traveling on his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He and his wife take a cross country trip on their Harley every year to visit great places in the U.S.
