Mr. Antone believes America is and should always be a great nation of immigrants, and that most immigrants represent a human story of courage and ambition, inspiring people to cross oceans and continents to immigrate, work hard, and help make this country the best in the world. N. Peter Antone graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from the Detroit College of Law, currently Michigan State University School of Law, in 1985. He then practiced for three years with the well-known firm of Bodman in Detroit, Michigan. In 1993, Mr. Antone started this firm specializing in all areas Immigration Law, and has since successfully represented major international corporations as well as families and individuals in various aspects of U.S. Immigration Law, both in the United States and abroad. His current focus is on the overall strategy for skills – based immigration cases, as well as acting as the managing partner for the firm’s general immigration practice.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Antone is a former adjunct professor of law at Michigan State University College of Law where he taught the subject of Immigration and Nationality Law. He is also a frequent speaker on immigration issues and has participated in several seminars, public policy panels; business institute workshops, TV interviews, and various public events dealing with immigration matters.

Mr. Antone has significant educational and work experiences that complement his legal practice. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Antone obtained a Bachelor’s degree (with highest distinction) from the University of Baghdad, Iraq, a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, and he managed a consulting firm. In addition, he has studied, done graduate work, and performed work in the fields of business administration, economics, and finance. He has worked and studied in the U.S.
Europe, and the Middle East.

Mr. Antone had over the years volunteered his time to serve in many non-profit organizations and had participated in several task force and Judicial Advisory committees, all intending to serve the community or improve the judicial system. Currently, he serves as an honorary but active member of the Board of Directors of the French School of Detroit.

Mr. Antone is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a member of the Michigan Bar.
