Mary Bostwick Russell is an associate in HunterMaclean’s Savannah office, where she focuses her practice on immigration law and business transactions. As part of her immigration practice, Mary assists clients in obtaining various temporary work visas, such as H-1Bs, E-2s, O-1s, and L-1As. She also facilitates the process of clients sponsoring their employees for immigrant visas, such as National Interest Waivers and PERMs. In addition to employment-based visas, Mary also frequently assists clients in obtaining family-based permanent residency.

Mary earned her B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2015 and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2018. During law school, Mary completed internships with the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Legal Services Clinic, the Atlanta Legal Aid Society-Senior Citizens Law Project, and the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served as a graduate research assistant for the Atlanta Center for International Arbitration and Mediation and a summer research assistant in the office of Judge Chris McFadden of the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Mary is a native of Savannah. While in undergraduate and law school, she volunteered with the American Red Cross.
