During Ms. Tisdahl’s academic journey, she earned a B.S. from Bates College, where her studies led her to investigate cytokine levels of pregnant women diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at Rush University Medical Center, and to delve into tumor cell differentiation in prostate cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Elissa earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a distinguished member of the Dean’s List and the International Moot Court Honors Society. Her academic excellence was also recognized with the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Negotiations.

Elissa has given numerous seminars and lectures to attorneys and non-attorneys about intellectual property law and litigation including professional organizations, colleges, universities, and law schools.

Ms. Tisdahl is an active member of the community. She has worked as a community health volunteer in Paraguay and volunteered for disabled orphans in Russia. She has also served as an instructor and counselor at a low-income community center, and currently volunteers with various local community organizations.
