Doug has been a lawyer since 1974, first in Vancouver and since 1988 in Abbotsford. He was designated as a King’s Counsel in 2001. He resolves disputes. Commercial disputes. Partnership and shareholder disputes. Employment disputes. And other kinds of disputes as well. He does appeals to the British Columbia Court of Appeal and to the Supreme Court of Canada. He keeps fit by walking on as many days as possible the 40 minutes between his home and office, even in the rain. His chief delights are his spouse, their two adult offspring and their partners, and four young grandchildren.
