Chad is a Partner at Pemberton Law and practices in our Fergus Falls location. He primarily represents cooperatives and businesses entities with every aspect of their legal needs from day-to-day questions to acquisitions, sales, entity formation, and mergers. Chad also maintains an active real estate practice through helping businesses and individuals navigate all aspects of the buying and selling process.

After growing up in Morris, Minnesota, Chad Felstul received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Communications from Concordia College and his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.

During the summer prior to his third year of law school, Chad worked as a summer associate at Pemberton Law.  The experience and mentorship he received at the firm, along with the beautiful lakes area persuaded him to move to Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Chad has been named a Minnesota “Rising Star” every year from 2014-2020 by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine.

Chad is an active member of the Fergus Falls community and is the president of the Fergus Falls Youth Baseball Association. In the past, Chad has been on the board of YMCA and Dollars for Scholars. In addition, Chad enjoys coaching his sons’ sports teams, fishing, and spending time at the lake with his family.
