Benjamin is an experienced litigator, representing businesses and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants in various civil disputes. After starting his career in 1998 as a solo practitioner (spending two years in Houston and another two years in Dallas), Benjamin spent the next five years with two law firms in Dallas and Houston before opening Sanchez Law Firm on January 1, 2007.

Sanchez Law Firm litigated debt recovery claims for creditors, such as banks, mortgage companies, debt buyers, and construction industry claims for commercial and public construction cases. Benjamin quickly gained a stellar reputation for his common-sense yet aggressive approach to representing clients and his professionalism and integrity in dealing with opposing counsel and the courts. Benjamin changed his collection-focused practice at the end of 2012 and has primarily represented people since then. This shift in practice has been met with professional success, as Benjamin has been named a Top Lawyer since 2013 in various areas of the law, such as business and commercial litigation, consumer law, and debt defense. Benjamin is trial-tested and understands most cases are over before ever reaching trial. Therefore, Benjamin uses pre-trial maneuvers to maximize each client’s position and minimize costs.

Benjamin is also a leader within the legal profession and the general public. From holding leadership positions within bar associations to public positions appointed by government officials, Benjamin has been entrusted to lead others. Benjamin also is a frequent lecturer, author, teacher, and motivational speaker.
