Mr. Marcus has represented thousands of business clients in State and Federal Court and arbitration panels in cases involving multi-million dollar claims.

Mr. Marcus is known as a “Lawyer’s Lawyer” and is frequently retained to represent lawyers, law firms, or to take over cases from other lawyers. Mr. Marcus, together with co-counsel, has represented many adult entertainment night club owners and successfully challenged City and County Ordinances on First Amendment grounds, thereby allowing these clubs to continue to legally operate.

Mr. Marcus has also acted as counsel in all types of corporate and business disputes, including shareholder actions, derivative actions, financial misconduct, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of confidentiality, trade secrets, corporate and Limited Liability Company dissolutions and shareholder and business valuations issues.

Mr. Marcus received his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1970 on an athletic scholarship. He attended New England School of Law in Boston graduating in 1973 Magna Cum Laude and Top of his Class, where he also served as an Editor of the Law Review.
